Peace through Art

Peace through Art – It’s Practical Magic!

In honor of all the people of the Ukraine and Russia who only want to live their lives in peace, let’s create something beautiful together to carry our intention of peaceful outcomes for all life.

Peace Through Art

You Will Create a Magical Work of Art!

Send healing vibrations of Peace and Harmony to the people of Russia and the Ukraine through your creation of a beautiful piece of art.

You don’t have to be good at drawing or painting to make your art beautiful. I’ll show you how to do it with mixed media.

All you will need is:

  • a small stretched canvas, canvas board, sheet of watercolor paper taped to a flat surface, or piece of gessoed art board
  • access to the internet and a printer (black and white prints are fine)
  • matt acrylic medium or Mod Podge glue
  • acrylic paints in assorted colors – or you could use pastels, tempera, or even colored pencils – or what about a combination of wax crayons and watercolors?
  • paint brushes (if you are working with a wet medium)
  • (optional) assorted stencils and/or stamps – or you could make your own potato stamps
  • anything you could use to make interesting patterns, like pieces of sponge, crumpled paper, rags, etc.
  • (optional) a hair dryer to speed drying time

More instructions will be sent when you sign up.

The Zoom link will be sent shortly before the class (a recording will be available if you can’t make the live class)

You can use national symbols of Russia and the Ukraine as I did in the banner above, or choose your own symbols to represent peace and harmony anywhere in the world. I can’t wait to see how creative you are!

Date: Wednesday, March 9h
Time: 10:30 am (1:30 pm Eastern) to 1 pm Pacific Time
Where: Live on Zoom (a recording will be available if you can’t make the live call)

Bernadette Wulf - Celtic Magic & Faery Lore TeacherI’ve been drawing and painting since I was old enough to pick up a crayon and I love sharing art with others and seeing how amazingly creative everyone is. Yes, that includes you!

Even if you don’t consider yourself an artist, you do have creative urges that you can express through art. Mixed media makes it easy and fun. I hope you will join us.
